The Lifestyle Centre is the heart of the Village, where most of the many facilities catering for residents’ interests and requirements are found.
A 200 seat Hall
This is used for many social and recreational activities and includes full big screen audio and video facilities. It has recently been redecorated and refurbished. It is available for private use subject to availability by residents wishing to host special occasion celebrations like birthdays or wedding anniversaries
The Dining Room
Sit-down breakfasts and midday meals are served daily with special dining events weekly. A self-service coffee, tea and snacks table is available up to 3 p.m. Midday meals may be ordered as take-aways for those who prefer to eat at home. For those with mobility problems, meals can be delivered for a small fee.
Outdoor Deck
The dining room opens onto a large shaded deck where meals and beverages may be enjoyed while looking out over one of the Village dams and its birdlife.
Library
Residents may browse and borrow (on an ‘honesty’ basis) from an extensive range of fiction and non-fiction books, magazines, and DVDs. Donations to continuously refresh the library are welcomed.
Hair and Beauty Salon
Lois’s popular hair and beauty salon offers hairdressing, a nail bar and massage treatments for residents and visitors alike (residents enjoy a preferential tariff).
